About Elizabeth Wachsman
Dr. Elizabeth Wachsman is a board-certified dermatologist with more than two decades of experience providing comprehensive skin care to patients of all ages. She is highly skilled in performing thorough skin cancer screenings, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering compassionate, patient centered care to effectively diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions.
Dr. Wachsman earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of California at San Francisco. She completed her internship in Pediatrics at Kaiser Los Angeles followed by her residency in Dermatology at LAC USC Medical Center, where she received advanced training in medical and surgical dermatology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Wachsman has served in a variety of clinical settings including private practice and academic medicine. She has provided care at Optum in Pasadena, Stoll Dermatology and Ava MD in Santa Monica, and volunteered as an attending physician at LAC USC Medical Center. Her broad experience allows her to deliver expert diagnosis and treatment for complex and routine skin concerns alike.
Dr. Wachsman is experienced in biopsies, excision procedures, preventive skin care, sun protection education, follow up care, and teledermatology. She is committed to detailed documentation and continuity of care to support optimal patient outcomes.
Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and licensed through the Medical Board of California, Dr. Wachsman is dedicated to helping her patients achieve and maintain healthy skin through attentive, evidence based care.
